KETOGENIC

The keto diet was developed in the 1920's to treat epilepsy by drastically reducing carbohydrate intake. It has since become a strong tool for burning fat, reducing blood sugar/insulin levels and delivering a host of health benefits. Replacing carbohydrates almost completely by healthy fats puts the body into a metabolic state called ketosis. The body then becomes incredibly efficient at burning fat to supply energy.

Prevents a variety of serious illnesses

Helps fight heart and brain diseases

Believed to starve certain cancer cells

DEBATED CHALLENGES
